We have one of the largest microsurgery services in the UK providing pioneering treatment of the highest calibre.
We have the largest children’s hand surgery service within the UK, offering a comprehensive package of care. This includes Children’s Hand Surgery,Ìýupper limb spasticityÌýandÌýErb’s Palsy.

Our department offers a number of renowned subspecialty (Fellowship) training programmes for surgeons interested inÌýAdult and Children’s Hand Surgery, Microsurgery, Skin Cancer and Aesthetic Surgery.
We undertake a significant amount of clinical research and our department recently developed the first and onlyÌýÌýfunded Plastic Surgery Academic Clinical Fellow post within the UK.
